Regulatory pathway
Aeredium's intended pathway is conventional and complete: an Australian Financial Services Licence, authorisation of the AUD AER facility as a Tokenised Stored Value Facility under Treasury's payment stablecoin framework, reserves safeguarded to the standard Treasury is finalising, AML/CTF enrolment with AUSTRAC, and early engagement with APRA and with the Reserve Bank on participation in its announced digital-infrastructure sandbox.
The technology does not replace any of these obligations; it makes several of them verifiable in real time. Nothing in Aeredium's design asks for regulatory exception — the argument is that hardware-attested infrastructure exceeds the assurance level the framework contemplates.
The AEREDIUM platform
Aeredium develops the full stack on which AUD AER runs: the Iridium settlement blockchain, the AERKey threshold signature system, the USIG anti-equivocation discipline, and the in-enclave observer layer that reads blockchains and banking rails under quorum. The settlement architecture is the subject of a patent application covering sealed-execution cross-chain stablecoin settlement using trusted execution environment enclaves.
